A direct encounter with what the experiencer identified as God, the divine, a cosmic intelligence, or a higher power, experienced as unmistakably real and distinct from their own mind.
The narrow gap between the two numbers reflects that those who described it did so with specificity and conviction, rarely in passing. When it was mentioned, it was almost always described in depth.
The first thing you know instantly is you're in the presence of your creator and you flat out know it! There's nothing else that can be! Nothing! You know it, that being is in command and you know it!
I opened my eyes and I was in a different world — everything seemed illuminated from within with the presence of God. I was overwhelmed with a sense of oneness. I was literally intoxicated with love.
I believe living such a life now, becoming one and in close relationship with God, and making God the central focus of life, is the only way that individuals and our world itself can live peaceful and sacred lives during the trials we are now all going through.
I saw that there was nothing wrong with me. That I was born an aspect of divine source. And that it was the confusion, the misalignment, the unhealed trauma of the adults that was the reason for the abuse.
