A perceived meeting with deceased relatives, friends, or other recognizable individuals, typically described as comforting, unmistakably real, and distinctly different from dreams or imagination. Appears almost exclusively within the NDE accounts.
The narrow gap between the two numbers reflects that those who reported this almost always described it in detail. It was rarely mentioned only in passing.
In that blackness under that water I had my eyes open. A horizon of light opened up — that beautiful gold shimmery light — and in that horizon came towards me my then living grandmother from my samurai heritage and my then deceased first dog.
Suddenly Bill was in peace, joy, love, and happiness with his grandfather greeting him, who took him into nothing but goodness. And suddenly another ball of energy with authority said, 'It's not your time, go back.'
I was seeing everyone as these glorious divine perfect beings — the heroin addict, but also the saintly grandmother. And just all of a sudden we were all in this together having a different unique experience surrounded in unconditional love.
I have no fear of death. I've died. When I passed away where I was, there was no judgment, there was no pain, there was no fear. I know there's life after this life and I know that our loved ones are watching over us.
